The Light

The Light is a huge illuminated globe. Designed as a high-impact focal art installation, the globe has been used as a focal piece for community projects run by Conical Sphere Music.

November 2018 - January 2019, the globe travelled to Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire where over 200 local singers came together for Songs Of The Light to launch the installation. Sky News dubbed the installation a 'Beacon of Hope' as part of the Salisbury rebrand following the Skripal Poisoning in March 2018.

The Light, ROMSEY

The Light, POOLE

The Light premiered in Poole Dolphin Shopping Centre for Christmas 2015. The globe hung in the shopping centre for 12 weeks.

From giving young interns who get the chance to work on a project using technology that might be otherwise unavailable or unaffordable, to volunteers who get the opportunity to push personal boundaries and benefit from highlighting issues within local communities, the vision behind the project is to give new opportunities through experience for people of all backgrounds.
