Join Dorset musician Sam Hanson 7pm Thursday 25th January 2018 as he explains “The Joy Of Music Theory”. A short and engaging “TED-style” talk including the chance to see Sam give hands-on demonstrations from one of the most talented local pianists & organists. Followed by a Q&A Session with the artist, free refreshments and an opportunity for networking. Space is limited so early booking essential. Entry by donation – all funds will be going towards supporting the work of Conical Sphere Music Community Interest Company and their community work with The Light in 2018. Free Refreshments Provided.
About the Artist Sam Hanson graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge in 2008 reading Music. Whilst there he held the position of organ scholar, a position which he has also previously held at Salisbury Cathedral. He is also an Associate of the Royal College of Organists (ARCO). Sam has performed in Westminster Abbey, Winchester Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral & Wimborne Minster amongst others, as well as accompanying for BBC Young Musician of the Year and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
